Full Terms of Service
These terms and conditions represent a contract between Youngs Window Cleaning and the Client.

In these terms of business ‘we’, ‘our’ or 'us' refers to Youngs Window Cleaning.

The client agrees that engaging with Youngs Window Cleaning; in person, by telephone, by email, on the Youngs Window Cleaning’ website or any other communication medium shall constitute the client’s acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Quotes and Estimates
For each service, the customer will be provided with a quote by us. However, we reserve the right to charge more than the quoted amount when the service provided demands significantly more time, effort or resources than anticipated.
Clients data and communication
We will retain customers name, address and relevant contact details. This information is for the use of Youngs Window Cleaning only and will not be sold or passed on to third parties.

We will send the client an SMS text message the evening before the day of services to inform you we're coming the following day.
The First Window Clean
Due to window cleaning with water fed pole, we advise customers that the best results occasionally come after the second clean. This is only because newly cleaned window vents and dirt deposits disturbed during the first thorough clean and may continue to trickle down after we have left your home. When done regularly, the window cleaning reaches the best standard.

Regularity
Our most popular window cleaning cycle is our 6 weekly service, but we do also offer a 12 weekly option. However, the price will be 20% higher to compensate for the extra time and water needed to clean the extra dirt build up over the increased period.
Health and Safety
Any operative from Youngs Window Cleaning carries the right to refuse conducting any work, after conducting a risk assessment, deem to be of too higher risk to personal health and safety. The client may not be charged for the work not undertaken in this circumstance.

The client will ensure that walkways and areas Youngs Window Cleaning operatives need to access are clear of obstacles, children's toys, trip hazards, furniture, etc.
What can I expect
Our reach and wash system is perfect for day to day cleaning of your windows. However pure water will not remove certain substances, for example; plaster, concrete, paint or adhesives. In addition to this, anything affecting the colour of the frames including; staining, discolouration, UV bleaching will also not be rectified by pure water alone.

Unsatisfactory Cleans
Our pure water alone cannot leave dry water marks on your alone. But circumstances can arise where contaminated water can work its way onto the glass after we've left the work site. in this circumstance, the client has 24 hours to contact us to claim for the work to be redone on affected windows only for no extra charge.
Bad Weather
Our workers will operate in rainy conditions. However, should a shower become particularly heavy or prolonged, this may cause us to cease operations for that day. For which the client will be notified of.

Dog Mess and Locked Gates
When we come to clean your windows, we remind you every time in the notification SMS to unbolt your back gate at the beginning of that day, for the day. We also ask for all dog mess to be cleared up ready for our attendance.

If there is any dog mess in any area we would reasonably be required to step in to clean the back windows, we will not clean the back windows, as we will not risk stepping in it or getting it on our hoses as it in turn, gets on our hands, and in the van. If there is dog mess, we will not be able to wait for the client to clear it up.​

If we are unable to clean the back windows, we will discount your price by 30% for that clean.
Payment
You are required to pay within 7 days of the day services have been conducted. If you have regular window cleaning, we will prefer you to pay via GoCardless Direct Debit. We can also accept cash payments at the time of the work, card payments or bank transfers.
If the client does not pay the full amount required within 14 days of invoice, we reserves the right to charge interest on overdue balances at the rate of 10% over the Bank of England base rates, in accordance of the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
If the client fails to make payment in 60 days, we reserve the right to proceed with court proceedings to which debt collection agencies may be involved to collect money owed. The client will be liable for all court, bailiff and associated fees. If you contest an invoice due to dissatisfaction, we must be made aware of this within 24 hours of the work being complete so we can sort any issues or respond to any queries.
Damages
We will not be held responsible for any structural or decorative defects in your property, such as but not limited to, leaking seals and vents, decorative bars being knocked off, flaking paint, loose window lead and poorly fitting trims. The brushes use are specifically made for window cleaning and are made from soft plastic and nylon and therefore are not able to scratch glass and as a result, we cannot be held responsible for scratched glass. We have no liability for any indirect or consequential loss or loss of anticipated profit, goods or loss of use.
Insurance
Youngs Window Cleaning and all Youngs Window Cleaning operatives are comprehensively insured under our Public Liability Insurance Policy. For more information please contact us.
Price Updates
We reserves the right to increase the clients price for their window cleaning services for the compensation of Inflation, increased running costs and corrections to previous quoting errors which need to be brought into line with the other customers of Youngs Window Cleaning. The client must be notified of this change prior to the next scheduled clean.
Ending our Relationship
You may ask us to stop work on your property at any time. If so, please confirm that by SMS or telephone on 07395175257, or by email to youngswcleaning@gmail.com.

You are agreeing to a regular cycle for your window cleaning. If you do not notify us of your wishes not to have your window cleaned on any occasion, especially after receiving the reminder SMS, your fee becomes payable after we have done the clean. Stating you did not authorise any one clean will not be grounds for you to not make payment for the service rendered.
Complaints
Any operative from Youngs Window Cleaning will always remain courteous and professional. However, if you experience an operative who deviates from this code of conduct, please report it immediately to the director of the business on 07395175257 so the matter can be investigated.
General Legal
The validity and enforceability of this agreement will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England but Youngs Window Cleaning reserves the right to bring proceedings in connection with this contract in any other court of competent jurisdiction. Failure by the Company to enforce any of these conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of that condition or any other condition
Jurisdiction
These terms and our relationship will be governed by English Law. We each submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions without notice.

We ask you to sign up to our direct debit payment option, otherwise, you are required to pay within 7 days of the clean/service provided.

We will decline to conduct any part of a job we deem to be unsafe. We ask you to ensure that walkways are clear.
Bad Weather
Rain will not effect the clean so our workers will operate in light/medium rain, and only pack up due to the discomfort of the operators.
